How does Medicare cover Vision services and treatment?

Medicare won't pay for routine vision services, but it will cover the cost of diagnosing and treating most eye diseases and conditions such as glaucoma tests, cataract surgery, corrective lenses and eye prosthesis.
Medicare Advantage Plans (MAPD) can offer basic vision benefits. However our VSP plans offer a more comprehensive solution.
